The project of Vietti in the Tortona hills continues. Derthona Timorasso Boscogrosso comes from the
single vineyard “Boscogrosso,” located on the top of the hill that acts as a
watershed between the municipalities of Monleale and Volpeglino.
Aging includes 16 months between ceramic, wooden and steel
vats, to which are added an additional 12 months in bottle. Ethereal hints of
hydrocarbon, hawthorn floral and sweet honey notes are evident. Its complex
balance brings minerality and persistence on the palate.
